2016 has been an eventful year for the society. I would like to thank all my board members for their untiring efforts and giving their valuable time to help our society grow. We have had a huge interest in membership and the board has decided to make membership free to all to be inclusive and help disseminate knowledge to one and all. We had a hugely successful annual meeting jointly with the RCOG in 2016. We were invited by Yuva FOGSI society of India to hold a workshop in December, 2016 and participated in the congress at Bardhaman, West Bengal,India. The meeting once again was aimed at training young postgraduate trainees and I would like to thank the organising chair person Dr Susanta Das for his efforts to organise the meeting and the warm welcome to our faculty members of the society during their visit to India.
